Description

Ditch plastic capsules for good and switch to these eco-friendly, reusable stainless steel pods that are compatible with your Nespresso® machine. They are super easy to use and clean.

Why use SealPod Reusable Pods?

SealPod is the leading brand of reusable coffee pods. It's special patented design creates an intense and flavoursome coffee whilst it's durable stainless steel pod has built a fantastic reputation for it's long life span of 10 + years.

There are plenty of other benefits too:

  • Environmentally Friendly: Contribute to reducing billions of single-use pods ending up in landfill every year.
  • Value for money: Refillable capsules are a much more cost effective option than buying pre-packed.
  • Freedom: Don't be restricted to the blends available from big brands. Filling your own coffee pods means the freedom to choose your favourite coffee and explore any coffee.
  • Fresh coffee: Using freshly ground coffee ensures you get the very best flavours and coffee. Coffee from single-use pods can often be sitting on the shelves for up to 12 months which results in a stale and poor quality espresso.
  • Easy to use & clean: Quick and simple to use. Easy to clean in sink or dishwasher.
  • Fertiliser for your plants. Place your used coffee grounds straight into soil to act as a natural fertiliser.

Instructions

After filling your SealPod with 'fine' coffee, press it down lightly with the base of your spoon. Top up with more coffee and press down again lightly. Stick a lid on and pop your pod into your machine like normal. Your machine will pierce the foil lid when the handle is depressed.

After you've brewed your coffee, don't forget to get your SealPod out of your Nespresso® machine basket! Once it's cool enough, remove the lid and wash out your pod ready for its next use.

Try it today with our beautifully roasted 'perfect for pods' Maverick coffee. Select Nespresso® for any of our coffee blends and we will grind it to order, perfectly for this pod.

You will get up to 35 cups of coffee from just 1 x 250g bag of Maverick coffee, using the SealPod!

Excellent coffee

Very simple to use and I really liked the layout of the kit and how tasty the coffee was with the metal pod.

Absolutely fabulous! You need to work out a bit of a system, but easy and so, so worth it. No more plastic and fabulous coffee. Life changing…

SealPod is a great idea - more effort though of course

I have two of these pods for my Nespresso compatible machine that I use my way. On balance, I think the Pods are worth the effort, but if you are a high convenience person, you are not going to enjoy the process and extra effort in my opinion. Here are the pros and cons of using the SealPod I've found:
Cons
- The whole process is not necessarily quick like a video depicts - you have to want to spend a bit of time on this and enjoy the theatre. There are always stray grounds to wipe up.
- I only drink decaf coffee, which always tastes weaker per volume in a Pod. So, my solution is to run through my 2 SealPods to get extra coffee in the mug, adding a bit of milk and extra hot water to top up, though still not as good tasting as a single bought pod made the same way (so I use them too sometimes).
- As I make two Pods up at a time, it is not as handy as a bought pod, as you use them, rinse them out, dry them, refill and then seal for next time, so takes longer than you think if you are grinding and clearing up as well.
- I don't always feel like putting the coffee grounds on the garden it it's cold or wet.
Pros
- Lovely, well made pods. Quality product.
- The concept is great - select and grind your own beans or put in ready ground, be in charge of your destiny, and it's eco friendly.
- Foil recyclable
- Coffee grounds put on the garden are good nutrition for the plants.
- Less waste in recycling.

Great reusable pods

These have been great and easy to use - although it took me a few goes to get my strengths right. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to use less of the single use pods!
