How to make a Maverick Easter Iced Mocha without going to the shop (using a piece of your Easter egg)
The sun is shining and we think it's about time we get the ice out! Making an iced coffee couldn't be easier and we felt it was only right we shared a Maverick Easter Iced Chocolate recipe with you. In fact its easier than making a latte or cappuccino! For those of you that has an espresso machine or a coffee pod machine, here are some simple step-by-step instructions for making a refreshing iced coffee at home.
Step 1: Fill a glass with ice.
Step 2: Fill the glass just over 3/4's with milk or a milk alternative.
Step 3: Make an espresso using your machine and do this into a small cup/glass.
Step 4: Break a piece of your easter egg and add to the hot espresso and stir. If you like it extra sweet and chocolatey then add a big piece. If it doesn't completely melt then add a splash of hot water.
Step 5: Pour the chocolate espresso into your iced milk.
Step 6: Enjoy! It really is that simple.
Here are some extra tips:
Tip 1: If you like a strong coffee like us then go for a double espresso shot.
Tip 2: If you want to make it sweet, mix sugar with your hot espresso shot and stir. The heat from the espresso should melt the sugar. Then add this to the iced milk.
Tip 3: If you don't want a milky coffee, replace the milk with cold water for an iced Americano.
